Current Development Projects
Jade at North HillsA 139-unit apartment development is under construction at the corner of Good Hope Road and Highland Drive in eastern Menomonee Falls. The proximity of the Jade at North Hills to nearby services, an on-site retail space and an indoor common area/recreational space are expected to increase the desirability of these apartments for young professionals.
Grace CommonsConstruction is underway on a large senior housing development near the intersection of County Line Road and Cross View Way in northern Menomonee Falls. The first phase of the project will create 165 units including a mix of independent living apartments, assisted living apartments, and memory care units. Completion of the first phase is expected in spring of 2020.
International AutosConstruction is moving forward on two new car dealerships near the intersection of Main Street and Lilly Road in northeast Menomonee Falls. The two buildings will total 42,000 square feet and will include Volkswagen and Buick GMC franchises.
Wittlin's ServiceConstruction is underway on a 7,383 square foot addition for Wittlin's Service station near the intersection of St. Francis Drive and Appleton Avenue in northern Menomonee Falls. The addition will add seven service bays to the Wittlin's operation.
Fire Station RestaurantConstruction is proceeding to transform the former Fire Station No. 1 into a new restaurant along Appleton Avenue in downtown Menomonee Falls. Over 9,000 square feet of space in the building is being renovated to accommodate the new commercial space. The project includes outdoor seating areas at both the front and rear of the building.
Olive Garden Italian KitchenConstruction is moving ahead in 2019 on an Olive Garden restaurant on the east side of Falls Parkway in the White Stone Station mixed use development. The 7,794 square foot restaurant is located immediately to the northwest of the Froedtert Orthopaedic Sports and Spine Center.
Burger KingA new 3,149 square foot Burger King restaurant is being constructed along the east side of Appleton Avenue to the south of the existing CVS Pharmacy.
Dunkin DonutsConstruction will be moving forward in 2019 on a new 1,580 square foot Dunkin Donuts location at the intersection of Elm Lane and Appleton Avenue.
AldiConstruction is proceeding on a 20,533 square foot Aldi grocery store located near the intersection of 124th Street and Leon Road in northeast Menomonee Falls. The Aldi building is situated just to the south of the Woodman's convenience store and fueling station.
Brook-Falls Veterinary HospitalConstruction is underway on a major addition at the Brook-Falls Veterinary location on Lisbon Road in southeastern Menomonee Falls. The 12,250 square foot addition will allow Brook-Falls to offer more comprehensive pet daycare and boarding services.
Delta Hotels by Marriot
The former Radisson Hotel along east Main Street near Interstate 41/US 45 is undergoing major interior renovations in 2019 as part of its transition to becoming Delta Hotels Milwaukee Northwest . The project includes upgrades to the guest rooms, lobby, fitness center, and restaurant.The 6,100 square foot hotel restaurant will reopen as Waterlin Coffee Bar and Bistro.
Leonardo DRSConstruction is moving ahead on the relocation (and expansion) of US Navy contractor Leonardo DRS on the west side of Flint Drive in Woodland Prime Office Park. The approved plans call for Leonardo DRS to build a 350,000 square foot high-tech industrial building and for the company to occupy an existing 120,000 square foot office building to the north of the new facility. Leonardo DRS is expected to employ an estimated 600 employees on their largest shift.
Alto-Shaam IncorporatedPlans have been approved for a 130,000 square foot building addition to be located on the west side of Water Street, north of the Knights of Columbus Clubhouse and to the east of the Menomonee River in northern Menomonee Falls. The addition will include 40,000 square feet for an expanded innovation center and 90,000 square feet of warehouse space.
Glenroy IncorporatedThe Village approved plans for a 108,265 square foot building addition connecting two existing Glenroy buildings near the intersection of Nor-X-Way Avenue and Megal Drive in northern Menomonee Falls. The addition will expand Glenroy's manufacturing capacity and provide space to meet future demand for growth/ expanded product offerings.
Ravenwoods CondominiumsThe Village has approved plans for a condominium building to be located near the intersection of Silver Spring Drive and Westwind Drive in southeastern Menomonee Falls. The approved building has 8 condominium units and a total of 13,000 square feet.
19 single family lots are being developed along the east side of Lannon Road between Silver Spring Drive and Lisbon Road in southwest Menomonee Falls. The lots in the Aero Park subdivision range in size from 18,063 square feet to 22,673 square feet with an average lot size of 19,058 square feet. 12 building permits for single family homes were issued for Aeropark subdivision in the first half of 2019.
Brehmer Estates Subdivision
The Village approved a preliminary plat in 2019 for a subdivision with 7 single family lots to be located to the east of Marcy Road and to the south of Ridgeline Trail in southern Menomonee Falls. Lots in the subdivision range in size from 26,940 square feet to 83,849 square feet with an average lot size of 51,071 square feet.
Fox Meadow Subdivision60 single family lots are being developed on the west side of Pilgrim Road between Chateau Drive and Wildflower Drive in Central Menomonee Falls. The lots in the Fox Meadow subdivision range in size from 15,000 to 28,000 square feet with an average lot size of over 17,000 square feet. Building permits were issued for 5 new single family homes in the Fox Meadow subdivision during the first half of 2019.
Lilly Creek Highlands Subdivision V & VI22 single family lots are being developed at a site near the corner of Daylilly Drive and Northfield Drive in southeast Menomonee Falls. Lot sizes in the Lilly Creek V & VI subdivisions range from 20,015 to 26,472 square feet with an average size of 21,836 square feet.
Silver Spring Estates Subdivision V & VI
Development is moving ahead on the fifth and sixth phases of the Silver Spring Estates subdivision which is located to the east of Town Line Road and to the north of Silver Spring Drive in southwest Menomonee Falls. These phases added 29 lots with an average lot size of 19,003 square feet. Building permits for 6 new single family homes have been issued for Silver Spring Estates subdivision in the first half of 2019. When complete, the Silver Spring Estates Subdivision will create a total of 138 residential parcels (12 duplex and 126 single family lots) across from Hamilton High School on the former Lied’s Nursery site.
27 single family lots are being developed along the north side of Lisbon Road between Lannon Road and One Mile Road in southwest Menomonee Falls. The approved plat is the first phase of a larger project which will include 103 single family homes. Lot sizes in the Tamarind subdivision range from 12,000 to 27,844 square feet with an average size of 14,392 square feet. Building permits have been issued for 7 new single family homes in Tamarind subdivision in the first half of 2019.
Brookdale Estates Subdivision
75 single family lots are being developed at the northeast corner of the intersection of Pilgrim Road and Lisbon Road in southeast Menomonee Falls. The lots in the Brookdale Estates subdivision range in size from 10,000 square feet to 29,000 square feet with an average lot size of over 13,300 square feet. Building permits were issued for 10 new single family homes in the Brookdale Estates subdivision in the first half of 2019.
31 single family lots are being developed near the intersection of Mill Road and Lilly Road in southeast Menomonee Falls. Lots for this phase of the subdivision range in size from 13,477 to 34,268 square feet with an average lot size of 18,762 square feet. 8 building permits for single family homes were issued in the Weyerhaven subdivision in the first half of 2019. When complete, the Weyerhaven subdivision will create a total of 140 lots.
