Land Development Guidelines
The following guidelines are engineering requirements in the Village of Menomonee Falls that should be followed and can expedite the design, review, and approval process of a project.
Design guidelines are provided to aid the design engineer and planner on infrastructure and design requirements for the Village of Menomonee Falls.
Stormwater guidelines are requirements for the design of detention / retention ponds in the Village of Menomonee Falls.
Landscaping is an important part of any development. The landscaping policy by the Engineering Department outlines what landscaping is or is not allowed within village controlled easements, right-of-way, and stormwater ponds.
This policy must be used in conjunction with the Landscape Guidelines (PDF) to ensure proper landscaping is designed for the development.
Utility Acceptance Policy
A private development is responsible for the water main, sanitary, and storm sewer infrastructure required for the development of the property and for all connections to the municipal system.
The Water, Sewer and Stormwater Utilities of Menomonee Falls may consider acceptance of the dedications of the respective utility infrastructure in private developments in accordance with the Utility Acceptance Policy.
